“So Far… So Near - Inclusive Arts” is a film developed by the Glocalmusic organisation about an Erasmus + Programme project with the aim of promoting social inclusion through artistic activities, educating professionals as well as building a high-quality play with handicapped people between four different countries: Portugal, Hungary, Finland, and Turkey. The film shows all the processes of the Erasmus + project from the own subjective view of the director and focuses mainly on human connections and what happened unexpectedly along the journey of different people trying to build a play, to get to know each other and to overcome a pandemic situation that crossed their lives in the final moments of the project. How far can we go on a journey that is unknown to us? What fears do we have to overcome to build our confidence? How can art build bridges between unknown worlds? These are the same questions that took place in the narrative of the film and are not on the surface of it, but rather something that is implied in it. |
