Our goals |
What is the project about? |
Our belief is that people of all sorts of abilities are capable of develop their skills and knowledge, when everyone has the appropriate preparation and all the support they need. We are providing a safe and welcoming environment for persons with disabilities, as well as technicians who work closely with them to train in various forms of art, such as theatre, dance, and music. We promote social inclusion, equality and diversity by encouraging disabled individuals to express themselves via the arts, and we educate professionals to be able to support them by sharing knowledge and best practices. By increasing their networks and providing them with new skills, we want to empower institutions to improve the quality of their work.

In this theatrical project, we used the book “Adventures of John Without Fear” by José Gomes Ferreira, a Portuguese writer, to create a play in which we blended different approaches and techniques of four countries' experts. Although the project was challenging to begin with, the group was able to produce a rich tapestry of pieces that linked together to bring a collective story to life by experimenting with numerous theatrical genres and techniques.
